The new Black Panther Party offered a bounty of $10,000 Saturday for the \u201ccapture\u201d of a Florida neighborhood watch captain who killed unarmed teen\u00a0Trayvon Martin<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cAn eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth,\u201d leader\u00a0Mikhail Muhammad<\/a>\u00a0said after announcing the reward for\u00a0George Zimmerman<\/a>\u00a0at a protest in Sanford, Fla.<\/p>\n Muhammad called on 5,000 black men to mobilize and capture the neighborhood watch volunteer.<\/p>\n \u201cIf the government won\u2019t do the job, we\u2019ll do it,\u201d Muhammad said, leading chants that included \u201cfreedom or death\u201d and \u201cjustice for Trayvon.\u201d<\/p>\n Muhammad said New Black Panther\u2019s chairman, Malik Zulu Shabaz of Washington, was taking donations from black entertainers and athletes.<\/p>\n The group hopes to collect $1 million off the outrage by next week.<\/p>\n New Black Panthers members pointed to what they called the inaction of government officials \u2014 from Sanford city officials up to the governor \u2014 and accused them of lying and delaying justice.<\/p>\n
