We See Lies When we stop allowing ourselves to be blind to what’s true then we will see real progress.

This man and his daughter are lucky to be alive.  This is yet another example of how invaluable police view black lives, which clearly applies to black children.  It’s hard to watch this video and not cringe at the thought of that beautiful girl potentially being hit by a bullet, succumbing to an untreated asthma attack, or being traumatically scarred for life from watching her father be  murdered all at the fault of an irresponsible police officer.

There’s no mystery in this case the entire murder is caught on camera and the white officer is still not indicted.

I have experienced this countless times throughout my life, police have even threaten me with  trust passing charges for only walking to visit a friend in a different neighborhood. The same way they stopped us during slavery asking us for freedom papers they’re harassing us now asking who are we and where are we going.

It’s been documented that this police officer was deemed unfit to be in the field which was determined by his superiors.  This trigger happy police officer demonstrated no restraint or protocol by shooting this child within a matter a seconds. Furthermore his mother and siblings and mother were treated like criminals and threatened for grieving over the child. To make matter even worse, there was no attempt by the police that shot him to provide aid to the child that died hours later at the hospital which of course leads us to wonder if his life could have been saved.

An elderly woman with her back turned poses no threat to an officer that would justify the use of such dangerous and excessive force. It’s obvious that these police officers are programmed to view black people as less than human regardless of their age and fragility. She was black first over being a female or a grandmother.
