Seeing that Darren Hunt had a white family and close white friends that loved him. Hopefully we’ll see more white Americans willing to express sympathy, with this national epidemic of black men being killed by police.

Robert Addison – Shot 8 times in just seconds of his encounter with the police yielding only a knife
Milton Hall – Shot a total of 47 times yielding only a knife.
There are countless cases in which black men that were clearly in an unstable state of mind and posed a significantly minimal threat in comparison to this white man and his rifle. These black men, however, were not awarded the opportunity to be diffused or even handcuffed and tried in a court. They were gunned down savagely.
Police shoot us when they are in a position to use a taser, and they use the taser on us when they are in a position to just make an arrest. It’s always excessive force when dealing with black men.
This is nothing new for us, deep down the entire black community knows this is how the majority of white police view us. What’s interesting is CNN caught what the officer said and decided to report it.
The majority of police across the country treat black men as criminals first, which further gives us the feeling of not being equivalent to white men as American citizens in this country. True talk, I don’t believe if Michael Brown was a white boy in a white community he would have been killed. There was no justified reason for this unarmed teenager to be shot six times by police.
He told the police eight times that he couldn’t breathe and they continued to choked him without any care for his life. If i killed someone that’s not trying to kill me i’m sure i would be facing a murder charge. Police should be held to the same accountability as us.

It’s clear in the eyes of the officer that she was viewed as being black first over being a female. When he was attacking her he didn’t see a female, he saw a black person only. This is a message to all black women across America, please don’t be naive to police brutality. You are not excluded from this practice that is so deeply embedded in the fiber of the vast majority of police organizations in this country.

Racism at the work place is the most frequent but also the least acknowledged form of racism in today’s society. The majority of the leadership positions in American companies are held by white men, which puts African American employees in a vulnerable situation when faced with racism. Think about it, it’s complicated to argue with your white boss when they are able to dictate your financial situation. In addition, the boss’ colleagues that are in a position of equivalent power, and are also typically white, likely share his views. This is why we have some black people that are content and submissive to being unfairly treated in the work place. They accept lower salaries than their white counterparts, adhere to more strict dress codes, and are less likely to be promoted. So much appreciation to these two black men that were willing to put their finances on the line for the respect of their culture.
As a black woman, my stomach turns watching this video. This incident goes far beyond questioning the ethics of law enforcement. The actions taken against these women were nothing short of rape and both officers should be charged accordingly. Although many may view this as two incompetent police officers, I believe this was a premeditated scenario and these two women were the unfortunate victims that day. The whole thing is wrong and suspicious. From not being allowed to clothe themselves, being handcuffed in their bathing suits, and only 1 glove between 2 different police cars for such a classic insignificant and unsubstantiated accusation – “I smell weed”. After what they endured, they deserve every single dollar from the lawsuit.
This is a reminder or wake up call to black people that think their financial status is going to allow them to be excluded from white racism. Chris Paul signed a 5 year / $107.34 million dollar contract with Donald Sterling. But in the eyes of Sterling , he still only views Chris as his black servant regardless of the salary.
