We See Lies When we stop allowing ourselves to be blind to what’s true then we will see real progress.

Once again, a white man trying to dictate the narrative of how black Americans should view the history of slavery in America. Bill O’Reilly could not stomach the fact that Michele Obama acknowledged that the white house was built off of slavery, so he decided to come up with a watered down version of the slave experience by saying that black slaves were treated good, fed well, and there was others that helped build the white house too. Truth – its extremely disrespectful and inconsiderate to black people for Bill O’Reilly to ever use the words “treated good” when speaking in reference to slavery in America. O’Reilly personifies the reason why we can’t continue to only allow white america to tell us our history because they will alter it the best they can to benefit them.
