We cannot continue to be naive and believe racism is only coming from old white men that are dying off. To many of us act as if racism is mostly in the past and somewhat in the present, but not a part of our future. The liberal media wants us to only worry about old white republicans and not these young ones.
Once again, a white man trying to dictate the narrative of how black Americans should view the history of slavery in America. Bill O’Reilly could not stomach the fact that Michele Obama acknowledged that the white house was built off of slavery, so he decided to come up with a watered down version of the slave experience by saying that black slaves were treated good, fed well, and there was others that helped build the white house too. Truth – its extremely disrespectful and inconsiderate to black people for Bill O’Reilly to ever use the words “treated good” when speaking in reference to slavery in America. O’Reilly personifies the reason why we can’t continue to only allow white america to tell us our history because they will alter it the best they can to benefit them.
There is literally no more cooperating that could have been done. He was laying down with hands up and talking to the police to let them know there is no weapon and he still gets shot? On top of that, he was put into hand cuffs before police examined the wounds to assess what level of medical attention was needed. Black men are truly an endangered species in America.
I notice a lot a white Americans are upset that black Americans are speaking out against injustice and inequality in America. My advice to those white people is to help us fight for equality to change the inequities. If it doesn’t exist then white America won’t have to hear us talk about it anymore.
