This is a perfect example of white male privilege when media allows this white man to beat up a black women without an immediate mainstream reaction. And still, even as the story spreads, the headlines are excuses for him – he has a mental health issues, he’s a bench player, etc., etc., etc. This was nothing less than an attempted murder. After his commanding her to “bow down” to him, he choked her until he thought she was dead and instead of calling for help he sat down to eat dinner. She woke up and saved herself.
