This case is one of the most obvious displays of police corruption in recent years. So they want us to believe that Chavis shot himself in the right temple while he was handcuffed with his hands behind his back, and he’s left handed. Also, they admitted to searching him twice and didn’t find a gun, but found a sack of weed. Truth is Arkansa police created such a ridiculous story because too many times us as black people just accept whatever we’re told.

We all know that if this was a 12 year old white girl the altercation would have been handled differently. Certainly a white child would have not been shocked by a taser at the hands of a police officer. With knowing that it’s time to stop allowing these racist police to get away with excessive force towards people of color, especially black children. We have to unite and get behind this family in St. Louis and create a petition for some type of financial or legal action to be taking against the officer involved. Truth is, if we let this go this will continue to be a problem for black people in America.
This story hits home for me considering I spent the majority of my childhood in this neighborhood and lost my friend Donald and couple other people I knew all from gun violence. Being a young black man in America every day is a challenge to survive. There are so many more of us being killed out here in the streets of America than in military combat in Afghanistan to the point that it seems to be a genocide going on against black men in America. Let’s be real if it was young white men being murdered at this rapid pace they will consider it a national threat and they would be sure to explore all their resources to find a solution to the problem.

Nineteen-year-old Kendrec McDade was shot at point-blank range by one Pasadena police officer and handcuffed after being struck by a total of seven bullets, according to the autopsyreport released Friday by the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
A grand jury has found that a White Plains police officer committed no crime when he fatally shot an elderly former Marine after an emotional standoff at the man’s apartment, authorities said yesterday.
The family of the slain man, 68-year-old Kenneth Chamberlain Sr., promptly said they would ask federal authorities to open a probe of the racially charged case.
“I have to question what evidence was presented to the grand jury . . . No indictment sends a very strong message to the people of Westchester County regarding police misconduct, brutality and criminality,” said Chamberlain’s son, Kenneth Jr., who had hoped for a murder charge against the cop who shot his dad.
