Police shoot us when they are in a position to use a taser, and they use the taser on us when they are in a position to just make an arrest. It’s always excessive force when dealing with black men.

This is nothing new for us, deep down the entire black community knows this is how the majority of white police view us. What’s interesting is CNN caught what the officer said and decided to report it.
The majority of police across the country treat black men as criminals first, which further gives us the feeling of not being equivalent to white men as American citizens in this country. True talk, I don’t believe if Michael Brown was a white boy in a white community he would have been killed. There was no justified reason for this unarmed teenager to be shot six times by police.

Racism at the work place is the most frequent but also the least acknowledged form of racism in today’s society. The majority of the leadership positions in American companies are held by white men, which puts African American employees in a vulnerable situation when faced with racism. Think about it, it’s complicated to argue with your white boss when they are able to dictate your financial situation. In addition, the boss’ colleagues that are in a position of equivalent power, and are also typically white, likely share his views. This is why we have some black people that are content and submissive to being unfairly treated in the work place. They accept lower salaries than their white counterparts, adhere to more strict dress codes, and are less likely to be promoted. So much appreciation to these two black men that were willing to put their finances on the line for the respect of their culture.
This is a reminder or wake up call to black people that think their financial status is going to allow them to be excluded from white racism. Chris Paul signed a 5 year / $107.34 million dollar contract with Donald Sterling. But in the eyes of Sterling , he still only views Chris as his black servant regardless of the salary.
Much appreciation to Rhonda Lee for not compromising her true heritage for white corporate America; especially since we live in a society where you are social and financially rewarded as a black woman to minimize your African appearance. Just think about it, would Beyonce and Nikki Minaj be as successful as they are in white America’s eyes if they were on TV with their natural hair? The truth is, they want us insecure about who we are because if we hate ourselves, then how could we ever unite and overcome the inequalities established by white America.
I look at this case and see the same type of unfair sentencing handed down on black boys and men today. We can’t not allow for George Stinney execution to be forgotten and ignored. I know George Stinney can’t be brought back, but as a citizen of a nation that claims equality for all doesn’t he deserve for his name to be cleared since there was nothing about this trail and convection that represented fair and equal rights. George Stinney should not be looked back at as a fourteen year old convicted murderer but instead a fourteen year old murder victim.
THE BIGGER PROBLEM THAN OPRAH BEING RACIALLY PROFILED IS THE REACTION FROM WHITE AMERICA. THEY ARE MAD AT HER FOR TELLING HER EXPERIENCE OF BEING RACIALLY PROFILED BECAUSE THEY FEEL THEY HAVE PLACED HER IN A POSITION OF PUSHING THE WHITE AGENDA; WHICH DOES NOT INCLUDE EXPOSING OR DISCUSSING RACE ISSUES, PARTICULARLY WHEN SHE’S THE VICTIM.
