We See Lies When we stop allowing ourselves to be blind to what’s true then we will see real progress.

It’s sad that America has a lot of Black men confused in believing that joining  the military is a safety net from White racism. By Caron acknowledging that he was military you can tell that he believed it was going to serve as some kind of Black freedom pass that made his life more worthy. No matter how many times Black men like him have served this country and showed off their uniform, the only thing that matters is that you are STILL black. Centuries of Black men have been killed in a uniform representing America when there was no real gain for Black people as a whole. Simple and plain, they only celebrate Black men when we are entertaining them or dying for them in the military.  If we boycott joining the military to kill for them, then our real power will be exercised and can then be leveraged.  Stop allowing them to use your bodies to help push a racist agenda.
